Goan beauty Iliana's attempts to firm herself up in Bollywood have turned into a blind alley so far. Her excitement of acting with Salman Khan was short-lived.

Time is not favouring her. When she had plenty of offers in Telugu, she earned a bad name by absenting from audio functions. She used to explain that she abstained because of being busy in shootings. She felt she would get plenty of offers in Bollywood after 'Barfi'. But somehow no one appears to be interested in offering chances to her now.

Now Telugu hit 'Kick' is being remade into Hindi. Ileana was booked in the film, opposite Salman Khan. But for unknown reasons, she was removed from the project, say reports. It is learnt that producer and director of the film felt that there would be no 'kick' in Bolywood if she was the heroine. It was perhaps for that 'kick', they have now booked Dipika. Resemblance of Dipika in personality with Iliana and her image in Bollywood are said to the reasons for the replacement.

Iliana neglected Tollywood when she had offers. Now new heroines are dominating there. With this, Iliana is now neither here nor there.
