Actor Jeevitha expressed her anger against producers who are complaining on TV that their films did not receive the Nandi Awards. Jeevitha, who was the Jury Chairman for 2015 awards, brushed away all objections about the awards. She said that the winners had been chosen only after scrutinising all the films for three months. Saying that there was no political pressure on the jury, she said that people who think negatively would only find flaws in everything. She also said that it was not the general audience, but people from the industry who were bringing a bad name to the fraternity by complaining on live TV shows.
She remarked that people like Chiranjeevi, Allu Arvind or Allu Arjun had not said anything at all and it was outsiders who were raking up a controversy. Speaking about the film 'Rudramadevi', she said that the film lost out due to tough competition in that category. She explained that the jury had taken this decision after examining the films from all perspectives and questioned if people thought she took pleasure in saying that a well-made film was bad. Jeevitha commented that no one had the right to speak about the awards without understanding the judging process. That apart, she said, the jury members had their own troubles. On another occasion, she questioned if it was possible for the jury members to watch each and every movie patiently. When picking a movie for awards, there were bound to be disagreements, and there was no need to behave as if a serious crime had been committed, Jeevitha Rajasekhar concluded.
