There is going to be a big fight in the Tollywood. Five or six films of young heroes would pit against each other and test their luck in February. Six films are slated for release from the beginning of the next month to the end. Young heroes are mostly in the race. 'Kadali', 'Ongolu Gitta', 'Mirchi', 'Jabardast', 'Gundello Godari', 'Mister Pellikoduku', 'D for Dopidi', 'Bangaru Kodi Petta' and 'Swamy Ra Ra' are in the fray. The films would be a challenge not only the heroes, but to some directors too.

Kadali is a movie made by Mani Ratnam. The famous director who had no hit since a long time, is coming before the audience with a love story. Both the hero and the heroine are new faces. Songs of the film already released, attracted the youth. The director is hopeful that the film would help him regain his lost glory

Director Bhaskar is also facing the same situation. Bhaskar who directed three films, caught the attention of the film industry. But he became passed through a dull period, after his much hyped film 'Orange' bombed at the box office. He was away from the industry for some time. Now he is preparing for a fresh test to his talent through hero Ram's 'Ongolu Gitta'. This film is also going to be a test for Ram, also awaiting a hit. Both the films are slated for release on February 1.

Prabhas who was disenchanted with the result of 'Rebel' is going to try his luck through 'Mirchi'. His fans are excited with his new looks in the film. They are sure the film would be a big hit. Writer Koratala Shiva is making debut as director through the film. 'Mirchi' is scheduled for release on February 7.

Allu Sirish is making Tollywood entry with 'Gourvam'. The film whose teaser and poster were released, is likely to hit the screens during February end. Prakash Raj who burnt his fingers as producer is producing the film. If the film gets delayed, it would definitely be released in March.
Apart from these films, 'Jabardast', featuring Siddharth and Samanta, Manchu Lakshmi's 'Gundello Godari', Naga Chaitanya - Sunil movie 'Mister Pelli Koduku, 'D For Dopidi', Navdeep's 'Bangaru Kodipetta' and Colours Swati's 'Swamy Ra Ra' are also in the race. Looking at the past, only one or two films released in February were hits. Let's watch which of the six films slated for release during the February this year would be a hit.
