Telugus’ self-respect hypothecated in Delhi
03:13 PM on 25th January, 2013

Lok Satta president Jaya Prakash Narayana lamented that the Congress leaders had hypothecated the self-respect of Telugus in Delhi.  He said they kneeled before the Congress high command which declined to make a clear announcement on the Telangana issue. He charged them of seeking alms on the streets of the national capital. He said the Telugu race was bowing its head in shame at their pathetic behaviour. He also criticized that there was no one to bother about the needs of the people and render them an efficient administration.

Stating that there was no administration worth the name in the secretariat, Jaya Prakash said ministers were not coming anywhere near the seat of power. Stating that the Andhra Pradesh became a simmering cauldron since a month, JP charged that some political leaders were magnifying the sensitive issue for their selfish-ends and damaging the self-respect of Telugus. He said they had no right to make the people the prey for their hereditary politics.
