Charmee said her character in ‘Prema Oka Maikam’ was that of a call girl and a challenge to her.  She said the story is about love between a call girl, a writer and a singer. Chandu who directed ‘Tenth Class’ and ‘Note Book’ is the director of the film.

Producer and director of the film say that Savitri, Jaya Prada and Jaya Sudha of yesteryear and Karina Kapur and Anushka of the present generation donned the roles of prostitutes and impressed the audience and expressed confidence that Charmee’s acting also would be in that range.

‘Happy Days’ fame Rahu, and ‘Premiste’ fame Saranya are the lead pair of the film. The film is slated for release next month.
