A video clipping of a BSF jawan, who was deployed at Indo-Pakistan border in Jammu and Kashmir, is going viral and stunned the nation. The jawan alleged that the troops are served bad quality food and added that sometimes they have to manage to sleep 'empty stomach'.
Reacting to the issue, on Monday night, Home Minister Rajnath Singh tweeted that he had seen the video and that he has sought a report from the BSF to take 'appropriate action'.
In the videos uploaded on Facebook, the jawan claimed that though the government procures essentials for them, the officers 'sell it off' in an illegal manner in the market.

On the other hand, the BSF took to its official Twitter handle and wrote that an inquiry has been ordered.
