Though the T Congress and Seemandhra ministers and other leaders returned to Hyderabad, the fire that they ignited in Delhi is continuing to burn. Congress senior leaders Azad, Shinde, Vayilar Ravi, Chidambaram, Digvijay Singh and others who spent the whole of Thursday in discussions, appraised the party chief Sonia Gandhi of their views. Later Sonia who reviewed the Andhra situation in the mini core committee meeting, reportedly told them that it was better to make some announcement soon.



It is learnt she expressed the view that there should not be any further delay. It is learnt that other leaders also felt that there should not be dilly dallying as separatist and integrationist movements were picking up momentum. Leaders had decided to discuss the issue in depth in the core committee meeting on Friday. They also decided to meet again on February 1, if necessary.
